Michel Listenberger

Michel Listenberger, OD, FVI, Historian, Past President

Dr. Listenberger is a Past President of VOSH International having served 1995-97.  He has been involved in re-writing the Constitution and Bylaws we use today.  In 1996 VOSH conducted its first International Mission in Detroit at Cobo Hall (now Joe Lewis Arena) in conjunction with our Annual VOSH Meeting.  In 1986 Dr. Listenberger along with Dr. Nelson Edwards founded VOSH-Michigan.  Dr. Listenberger has led or participated in twenty-three VOSH Missions.  A parallel service career led to being the President and CEO of Optimist International the fourth largest civic service organization in the world.  During this term he grew the Organization while increasing community services to over one billion dollars.  Currently he practices Optometry in Niles, Michigan as Senior Associate at Niles Vision Clinic.
