V/I Awards

VOSH/INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN OF THE YEAR

VOSH/International presents the Humanitarian of the Year Award at the annual meeting to honor an individual who has distinguished him or herself by bringing eye care to underserved populations.  The award recognizes a volunteer who has improved visual welfare through leadership, invention, furthering the understanding of public health, or developing sustainable eye care solutions.  To nominate an individual for consideration, please complete and return the attached application form by May 1, 2010.  The VOSH/International 2010 Humanitarian of the Year will be announced on or about June 1, 2010 and presented at the V/I Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 10, 2010.  The VOSH/International Lifetime Acheivement Award is not a nomination award.
