VOSH-CT is busy preparing for it's 10th mission to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua January 8-15, 2011. During it's most recent mission this past January, 2,853 patients were seen over a 4 day period. VOSH-CT is extremely grateful for the support over the years of the Connecticut Optometric community. Mission costs now exceed $10,000 per mission, solely funded by donations and member generosity. Six Connecticut optometrists make up the core VOSH-CT team: Dr. Matthew Blondin, VOSH-CT President and Mission Co-Director, Dr. Brian Lynch, Dr. Jerry Hardison, Dr. Abby Quinn, Dr. Robert Mingrone and Dr. Thomas Marguis. These doctors return year after year and give up time away from their practices to help those in need.
