We stayed in Oaxaca, Mexico, and traveled by bus one hour to the small town of Zimatlan for our mission.  We had a team of 16 people and examined 1567 patients in 4 days.  Wonderful support from Opticas America, Rotarians and local government.  We dispensed 2100 pairs of glasses and 188 pairs are being made for our patients.  The main pathology was cataract and ptyergium.  Also seen were diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.  There was a nurse at the VOSH clinic daily that helped our patients get scheduled for surgical care at a main hospital in Oaxaca.
