| In Memoriam: Robert Merriam: Robert Hart Merriam, 86, of Owensboro, KY passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. He was a member of the Owensboro Lions Club and dedicated the past 30 years to Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity. An electrical engineer, Bob designed an alternate long-lasting battery pack system for the Retinomax. In 2004, VOSH/Int’l honored Mr. and Mrs. Merriam as Humanitarians of the Year. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Merriam. |
