VOSH-Santa Cruz will have a mission to Guatemala that departs February 15th and returns February 25th. Since we have to purchase tickets within the next 2 weeks, we have to receive registrations with a first deposit of 800$ Canada and the balance of 1000$ US due in November. Since payments are being made this year, the receipts will be for this year, and the per diem in 2019. The mission will be in 2 parts first us in February, then followed by a team of surgeons in early May to do the surgeries The maximum number for the team will be 20. We facilitate the provision and the sustainability of vision care worldwide for people who can neither afford nor obtain such care. Our goal is to increase our global impact whenever possible by supporting sustainable eye clinics, optometry schools and optometric educators in areas lacking sufficient eye care.
