VOSH-PA January 14-20, 2018 trip to Port-au-Prince Haiti. 1014 school aged kids including teachers were seen in 4 days. Dr. Marcha Polection, Trip Leader and Dr. Michelle Cadet, both VOSH-PA members along with volunteers and the local nurses, provided eye examinations to 1014 children and eyeglasses to those who otherwise would not have access to eye care. The children and the staff were very appreciative. It was a very successful mission.

We facilitate the provision and the sustainability of vision care worldwide for people who can neither afford nor obtain such care. Our goal is to increase our global impact whenever possible by supporting sustainable eye clinics, optometry schools and optometric educators in areas lacking sufficient eye care.
