Hopeful Ways is an all-volunteer non-profit organization looking for optometrist and optician volunteers for a medical mission trip to Juigalpa Nicaragua between Jan 23 and Feb 7, 2016. The project duration is 2 weeks, and volunteers can participate for one or both weeks. We will be providing free eye care services to the poor people in the surrounding ranching and farming communities. We facilitate the provision and the sustainability of vision care worldwide for people who can neither afford nor obtain such care. Our goal is to increase our global impact whenever possible by supporting sustainable eye clinics, optometry schools and optometric educators in areas lacking sufficient eye care.
